Meristems: The Newsletter of the Polly Hill Arboretum

mer.i.stem: n. botany. The growing point or area of rapidly dividing cells at the tip of a stem, root, or branch.

 

Meristems, mailed to members and donors twice a year, contains Arboretum news and accomplishments, education and outreach activities, Arboretum history, and articles on plants from our living collection and the native Vineyard flora.

At the 2011 American Public Gardens Association annual meeting Meristems received the Dorothy E. Hansell Publication Award.  This award is presented to best overall membership newsletter among our professional peers!
