Since 2007, Executive Director Tim Boland has participated in numerous trips to locate, map, and collect seeds for the Arboretum collections. PHA’s Stewartia collection is nationally accredited by the Plant Collection network. Staff continue to discover new populations and the techniques to grow them through trial and error.
