Plant Sale Opening Day

The PHA Plant Sale Opens May 28 at 9:30am. Staff will be on hand until 2pm to answer questions and assist with plant selection.

In-Person Sale

The PHA plant sale is back on in-person for spring this year, and will be open daily during Visitor Center open hours (9:30am-4pm daily, with exceptions), through fall. Choose from plants propagated from the Arboretum grounds, grown from seeds collected on expeditions, or selected as special and Island-appropriate by our staff. We offer a wide variety of unique trees, shrubs, perennials, and Island native species. PHA members receive a 10% discount.

Online Sale:  Native Plant Plugs

Want to fill meadow, woodland, or wildflower areas with beautiful native plants? We are now offering MV native plants sold as plugs. Landscape plugs, grown in narrow sleeves, are an economical way to add more native plants to your home landscape. Small, but strong due to their 5″ root depth, they will establish quickly in your garden. Native plants provide important food and habitat for local fauna and pollinators, and increase the ecological health of your neighborhood. Plugs will be available during limited ordering windows in spring and fall, beginning in early June. Check our website for more info, and to place your order. We’ll pack your plugs in mulch and deliver them to our pickup area, ready for planting right away!
