Join PHA Grounds Manager/Arborist Ian Jochems to learn all about maintaining meadows on Martha’s Vineyard. Ian will cover what makes native plants better suited for meadows and naturalized areas. During a short lecture followed by a walk and talk and demonstrations, Ian will show how PHA maintains meadows and what the future plans are for them. Students will be able to try out some of the tools used to manage invasive plants, and implement this hands-on experience into their own landscape.
