PHA Research Associates Greg Palermo and Margaret Curtin will lead participants on a walk to learn to identify the most common—yet beautiful and interesting—mosses found on the Island. Mosses are ancient, ubiquitous plants, visible in every season. Come learn about those eye-catching, emerald green patches that you see on your walks. Digital resources will be shared with the participants ahead of the walk. We will meet at a location to be determined (more details coming soon). Expect to walk for approximately one and a half hours on level ground with easy footing.
