Build a Becorn Workshop

The 10am workshop is full, but there is still space in the 1pm workshop.

Becorns are people made out of acorns and sticks. Artist David M. Bird will demonstrate how he creates Becorns, then it’s your turn to build a Becorn of your own! All materials will be provided. Just bring your imagination! Open to all ages, but adult supervision is required for children.

David M. Bird’s photography conjures a whimsical world where acorn creatures grow on trees, feed birds, and defend themselves against squirrel attacks. This process evolved from his years as a designer for Lego where he learned to build characters and tell stories with bricks. Now he does the same, but with sticks.
