From Edgartown
West on the Edgartown-West Tisbury Road, bearing right onto State Road at the junction just beyond the Old Millpond. The Arboretum entrance is 1.1 miles on the left, beyond the Agricultural Society’s buildings.

Public Bus Transit
The bus operated by Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority travels from the Steamship Authority Terminal in Vineyard Haven to West Tisbury (Alley’s Store). This bus travels alternate routes (State Road & Old County Road) and there is a bus stop at the entrance of the Polly Hill Arboretum parking lot on State Road. On the return route, the bus can be flagged down from across the road.
